Plagiarism vs. Paraphrasing

When you paraphrase information to your notes, you should write it not only using different word choice, but also different sentence structure. That way, when you go to write your paper and craft your notes into sentences and paragraphs, you will not be influenced by the voice of the original author. Of course, you will still cite the original source.
